HERE IS HOW TO REGISTER FOR SCRIP

We are proud to announce that we are have started a scrip program.

To begin registration you must obtain an Enrollment Code from our SCRIP chair person.  Contact kenowabandscrip@gmail.com for the code.  Once obtained you may begin the registration process.

To Register for the program:

• Start by going to www.shopwithscrip.com
• Click Join A Scrip Program
• Enter the Enrollment Code  (contact kenowabandscrip@gmail.com for code) – This code will enroll you into the Kenowa Hills Instrumental Booster Scrip Program
• Click Register

You will then need to enter in your information to set up an account

• Create a username
• Create a password

This will be used to log in to the www.shopwithscrip.com website.
Be sure to write these down, don’t lose them.

• Enter in information listed
• Student Name – Put the name of the student that you’re giving your fundraising to.
• Classroom/Group – Depending on your child’s classroom, please put either Band or Orchestra
• Email – Must have a valid email address to order.

There is a check box which allows you to receive promotional emails from “shopwithscrip”. If you leave the box checked you will receive emails regarding certain promotions and specials, but you are free to uncheck the box if you don’t want to receive those emails.

• Create Security Questions

You must choose two of the questions from the list and answer the questions.  If you lose your password, you will need the answers to reset it.

• Click Register

Now you are registered with www.shopwithscrip.com

The final step in being able to participate in scrip is to register for PrestoPay. PrestoPay is the only way to pay for scrip – cash and checks will not be accepted.

After doing the steps above to register, you now should be logged in.  To check if you are logged in, you should see your username in the top right corner of the webpage.  If you see your username there, you are still logged in.

Now on to register for PrestoPay.

• Click on Dashboard, located below, to the left of your username
• Click on Family Functions, located on the left side of the webpage
• Click on PrestoPay, located under Family Functions
• Read about what PrestoPay is
• Click Yes and I Agree

The next page is where you will need to input your banking information.

• Bank name
• Account name
• Account type; Savings or Checking
• Routing number
• Account number
• Name, Address, City, State, Zip Code
• Phone number
• Last 4 Social Security Number
• Date of birth
• Validation

Click Next to complete first part of the registration process.  You should then end up back at the Dashboard page.

(NOT COMMON – If you already have a scrip account through another organization, you may only have one PrestoPay account.  Please call me and I will talk you through how to set that up.)

Now shopwithscrip will verify that your bank information is correct.  Two random amounts of money will be deposited in your checking account that you defined in the previous step. This typically happens within 2 business days of you entering your account information.  As soon as you see the deposits in your account, make a note of the amounts. Then return to  ShopWithScrip.com to verify the set-up of your PrestoPay account.

After successfully verifying your PrestoPay account, you will be emailed an approval code. You will need to contact your program coordinator and give them this code to complete the enrollment process.  After I have received your approval code from you, your PrestoPay account will be up and running.  You can either email me or call me with the code.  You then may place an order!

How to know what is available to purchase:

This link is located at the bottom of the www.shopwithscrip.com webpage, “Retailer List”.

Look through this list to find what denomination of cards each merchant has for purchase.

If the merchant has letters following the card amounts, those mean:

• S = ScripNow eCards
• R = Reload
• RN = ReloadNow

How to place an order:

• Log into www.shopwithscrip.com, using your username and password that you created
• Click on Dashboard
• Click on Express Order

Then in the box start typing the merchant that you want to purchase.  When you see the merchant and denomination that you want to purchase, click on it.  Next you will be asked to put in a quantity.  Click Add To Cart, and it will be added.  Continue until you are finished with your whole order, then go to your Cart.  Your cart is located at the top right of the webpage.  Make sure that PrestoPay is selected as method of payment.  Then input your Pin Code that you set up to make purchases.  Click Submit Order.  You are all finished.  Your order will be sent to me, the scrip coordinator.  I will place the order on the next order date.  These dates are posted on the KHIMB website.  All orders must be placed before noon on the order date.  If they are not placed by noon, they will be pushed to the next order date.

Let’s all make this Scrip Program a huge success.  To do so, we need everyone’s participation.  Remember, that your student will receive 50% of the rebate and the booster general fund will receive the other 50%.  This add up fast.  I will send out reminders a few days before each order is due.  Orders will, for the most part, be due by noon on Monday’s.  Watch the dates on the KHIMB website.  http://khimb.org/KHIMB/Home.html.  I will place the whole order on Monday at noon.  It will be mailed out on Tuesday afternoon.  I should have the cards in my possession by Thursday.  I’ll need time to sort and bundle the cards for each family.  I should have them ready for pickup on Thursday at my house.  Pickup time is between 5pm-7pm.  (If you can’t make that, we can make other arrangements)
