Remind.com is the text/email messaging service the instrumental music department uses to alert students and parents of information such as cancelations, time changes, or just friendly reminders.  Your information is not solicited to an outside source and all numbers are kept private.  It is focused as a text messaging service for your cell phone but you can also register through email to receive messages as well.  We as a department highly recommend ALL parents and students sign up for this service.

There are several ways but the easiest is to text your enrollment.  Scroll down to see instructions on how to unsubscribe.

For HS Band Students/Parents:

If you have completed the enrollment correctly, you will receive a text message from remind.com right after your text has been sent.

If you do not have a text messaging service but would like to register an email address to receive our alerts, please use these two links below.

For High School Band goto http://remind.com/join/khhsb and register.

TEXT (on your cell phone) –
Select the band message in your text app on your phone at 81010 and type

 •To leave a specific group:
  KHHS Band:  @LEAVE @KHHSB
  KHMS Band: @LEAVE @KHMSB

  •Leave ALL groups on Remind: @STOPALL
       (Warning, this option will stop all remind messages so if you have other groups such as athletics or organizations it will stop those messages as well.)

 

APP (on your cell phone):

  • iOS: Once you are on the class, tap the ‘>’ next to the class name on top. In Class  settings, tap the red “Leave this class” button at the bottom of that screen.
  • Android: Tap the 3 dots in upper right once you are in the class and then tap Class Settings. Lastly, tap the red “Leave this class” button at the bottom of that screen.


EMAIL:
Click the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.


WEB:

  • Goto remind.com and log in.
  • Click on the name of the class you want to leave.
  • Click the gear icon in the upper left then “Leave this class” on Class settings.
